Welcome to the Catholic Community of Saint Lawrence

Scroll down for more information

Saint Lawrence is a parish family united as disciples of Jesus. We welcome all to our community of faith. Our goal is to share and foster the gospel values of worship, charity, justice and service.

We individually uncover and discover a distinctive spirituality as we live out the journey of life. Saint Lawrence is also a stewardship parish where we generously share God’s gifts.

Dear Parishioners,

It is with a heavy heart that I share some very difficult personal news. A serious and unforeseen medical emergency has arisen in my family, and I have requested an emergency leave from the Archdiocese to return home to the Philippines.

My father is currently in critical condition. He has long suffered from diabetes, and tragically, his condition has deteriorated rapidly. His organs are shutting down at a pace we did not anticipate. As you can imagine, this has been a painful and deeply emotional time for me and my family. I ask for your prayers—for strength, healing, peace, and above all, God’s will to be done.

In light of this situation, I regret to inform you that our weekday Masses (Tuesday to Thursday at 8:00 AM) will be temporarily suspended while I am away. I encourage all parishioners to continue their daily worship and sacramental life by attending Mass at one of our neighboring parishes in the Deanery. Below is a list of available weekday Masses:

St. Ann: Monday to Friday – 7:00 AM

St. Francis: Monday to Friday – 8:00 AM

Sts. Peter & Paul: Monday to Friday – 12:10 PM

Our Lady of Grace: • Monday to Friday – 12:30 PM
  • Monday to Thursday – 7:00 PM

As for weekend Masses, we will continue to follow our summer schedule this September until further notice:

         Saturday Vigil: 6:00 PM

Sunday: 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM

I want to sincerely thank you all in advance for your patience, understanding, and support during this difficult time. Your prayers mean more to me than words can express. I feel truly blessed to be part of such a compassionate and faith-filled community. Please know that even as I attend to my family, I continue to hold each of you in my thoughts and prayers. I look forward to being back with you soon, God willing.

May the Lord bless you and your families with peace and strength in all things.

Blessings,

Fr. Rolando
